The Hervey Bay community is invited to attend a free Community Health Information Morning at Reflections on the Bay Retirement Living on Wednesday 29 July 2026. 

Presented by the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service and hosted at Reflections on the Bay, an Ozcare retirement living community, this free event offers practical guidance on local health services and the support available across the region. 

Hear from Local Health Experts

Attendees will hear directly from local healthcare professionals on a range of important topics, including: 

• Emergency department triage 

• Oral health 

• Mental health support 

• Hospital developments 

• The latest chronic kidney disease research 

 
The morning also provides an opportunity to connect with local health professionals, ask questions and enjoy morning tea in a welcoming community setting.

Reflections on the Bay is inviting local artists and creatives to showcase their work at our upcoming Community Art Showcase.

This is an opportunity to share your creativity in a relaxed, community setting and connect with residents and visitors across the day.

Saturday 18 April

Entry is free, and one trestle table will be provided for each artist. You are welcome to exhibit and sell your work on the day.

Event details:

• RSVP by 1 April
• Set-up available Friday from 11:00am
• Exhibition open Saturday, 10am – 2pm
• Pack-up to be completed by 3:30pm Saturday

If pack-up is not completed by this time, artwork can be collected on Monday. Please note registrations cannot be accepted after 1 April.
